Shri Sunil Rane identified a critical gap: students were learning theory in isolation, disconnected from the real pressures, constraints, and feedback loops of industry work. Traditional semester projects felt disposable. Internships came too late.
Project Friday officially launched on Friday, July 18th, 2025. A radical weekly execution pipeline where students face real problems, real timelines, and real stakeholder feedback while still on campus. The mission is audacious: prove that capability is built through shipped work, not credentials.
In less than nine months, we've completed 48 consecutive weeks of execution cycles, with a growing cohort of student builders, mentors, and industry observers now watching real-time capability signals emerge from campus.
